Ready to R.I.S.E.
At LFICS, we know that regular attendance plays a critical role in student learning, social development, and overall school success. Being present each day allows students to fully engage in instruction, build strong routines, and feel connected to their school community. As part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen attendance, we have introduced our Ready to RISE initiative, which focuses on:
- R – Remarkable Attendance
- I – Improvement Counts
- S – Show Up Strong
- E – Every Day Matters.
This January, students will participate in a fun, schoolwide challenge: Two grades, one goal—show up strong! Fifth and sixth grade will go head-to-head, earning a point each day their grade level reaches 93% attendance or higher. The grade with the most points at the end of the month will earn locker magnets and schoolwide recognition. We appreciate your partnership in supporting daily attendance and helping all students rise to their full potential.
